Practical support for lasting progression
Learn UK supports people facing barriers to employment by helping them build skills, confidence and workplace experience.
Through training, one-to-one guidance and employment preparation, the programme gives participants the tools and support needed to progress towards further learning, an apprenticeship or sustainable employment.
Our programmes have already helped more than 200 people across the UK move into sustainable employment.
What does Employment Support include?
Build essential skills
Develop practical skills for work and everyday life, including English and Maths up to Level 2, digital skills and additional qualifications such as CSCS cards and Food Hygiene certificates.
Prepare for employment
Get practical support with job searching, CVs, applications and interview preparation, alongside opportunities to gain valuable workplace experience.
Plan your next step
Explore career goals and create a realistic plan for progression with personalised guidance and one-to-one support from a dedicated tutor or mentor.
Improve confidence and wellbeing
Build confidence in managing the wider challenges that can affect employment through financial literacy, money-management guidance and mental wellbeing support.
Creating pathways to work
The Employment Support programme helps participants identify a realistic next step and develop the skills needed to achieve it.
Depending on individual goals, this could include:
